Apple and Dell to Release Penryn Powered PCs at the Same Time

Both Apple and Dell are getting ready to launch notebook computers powered by Intel’s faster Penryn processors around the same time according to MacNN.

The 45nm Penryn processor uses less power than existing 65nm processors while performing at higher clock speeds.

Although HP was the first to adopt the Penryn processor as an option on some of their Pavillion models, Dell and Apple are poised to release some serious notebooks powered by the new Penryn processor.

Dell is likely to have Penryn processors as an option on their higher end XPS notebook line, while Apple is slated to launch an updated Penryn powered MacBook Pro.

Which one would you want? A Penryn powered Apple, Dell or HP?
