IBM Thinks Ubuntu Linux is Ready for Widespread Adoption
IBM has announced that it will be offering full Ubuntu support for its Lotus Notes and Lotus Symphony software. According to the chief competitive marketing officer for IBM Lotus, Antony Satyadas, Ubuntu support was a direct response to growing customer demands.
Satyadas stated that “some of the requests came from big companies,” with as many as 100,000 users who are looking to make the switch to Ubuntu. (more…)
