IBM has announced that it will be offering full Ubuntu support for its Lotus Notes and Lotus Symphony software. According to the chief competitive marketing officer for IBM Lotus, Antony Satyadas, Ubuntu support was a direct response to growing customer demands.

Intel added 16 new processors to its Penryn lineup, thus making the 65nm chip officially obsolete. Intel CEO Paul Otellini announced the new additions at CES earlier.

Details and pictures of ATI’s new low-end video cards have been leaked by MadBox PC. The cards will be based on 55nm technology and will cost between 50 and 100 dollars. They will all take advantage of the new PCI Express 2.0 slot.
The Radeon HD 3450 will cost about $50 dollars and contains an HD 3450 “display port” and a VGA port. It will run at 525 MHz and use DDR2 memory.
