The 25 Coolest (and Most Unconventional) Keyboards
Here’s a list of some of the coolest and strangest keyboards out there.

During the holiday shopping frenzy, numerous computer manufacturers have laptops on the market with comparable stats to the MacBook, many of which are even priced lower than Apple’s hottest selling laptop.
None of that seems to affect Apple, because as of Christmas day, the MacBook is the bestselling computer on Amazon.com’s Computers and PC Hardware bestsellers list. More…
The NVIDIA 780i Chipset will replace the aging 680i. The 680i was arguably the best chipset for SLI enthusiasts.
However, a lack of Penryn support has rendered the 680i obsolete for new systems with Penryn processors.
Three major benefits the new 780i chipset has over the 680i are as follows:
- Support for Intel’s highly praised Penryn processors
- Support for up to 3 GPUs running in SLI
- Use of the new PCI Express 2.0 slots
The three GPUs offer a reported 2.7 times increase in performance over a single video card. More…
Toshiba and others have joined forces to develop the first system chips using 32 nanometer circuitry. That’s far below Intel’s new 45nm Penryn processor.
The alliance consists of Toshiba, IBM, Samung, Infineon, Freescale, and Singapore’s Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing. The agreement lasts until the year 2010. Hopefully, that’s the year these chips will hit the market. More…
Microsoft Vista just can’t seem to get a break. Today, PC World named Vista the top tech disappointment of 2007. “It’s not that Vista is awful,” PC World states, “it’s just that Vista isn’t all that good.”
On the plus side, Vista has integrated security and parental controls, both of which were absent in Windows XP. It also sports that slick Aero interface and much improved wireless computability. More…

This memory, designed for small mobile devices such as cameras, cell phones, and MP3 players, will make its debut at the Consumer Electric Show in January. More…
If you’ve ever used an all-in-one computer, you probably know how ridiculously convenient they can be. One box, usually the monitor, acts as your “tower,” display and speakers. That means USB and other ports are conveniently located within arms reach. All-In-One PCs have been around since the days of the Atari 800, yet new technology has created a new class of computers.
These new PCs are hardly any thicker than the average LCD monitor, yet they incorporate nearly every part of your computer in a slim and sleek package. Just add a mouse and keyboard to the equation and you’re ready to roll. More…
We have all been in a situation where you find yourself in need of battery life for portable electronics like your laptop or a cell phone, but you need more time then you actually have, to fully charge your battery. Toshiba’s new Super Charge ion Battery (SCiB) claims to solve that problem by allowing you to get a 90% charge within just 5 minutes of plugging the charger into the outlet.
If super quick charging isn’t enough for you, they also say the SCiB has a life span of over 10 years. More…
Microsoft announced the long-anticipated Vista SP1 release candidate (RC), but for many Vista users it required an exhausting process including multiple restarts before they could even complete the update from the Microsoft website.
The SP1 RC is available to any one using a valid copy of Windows Vista. Windows update will analyze your system settings and may recommend up to three pre-requisite updates before you are allowed to install the SP1 RC update. More…
